Pounce Play: Little Learners is a playful screen for little learners. Letters, numbers, colors, words, shapes, and animals move. A tap catches one, and then the app says what it was.
Coming to the App Store
Numbers
1 to 10. The numeral and the dots travel together.
Colors
Red, blue, yellow, green, and the rest of the first ten colors.
Words
First words, such as ball, sun, cup, and tree.
Shapes
Circle, square, triangle, star, and heart.
Animals
Fish, mouse, bird, and the rest of the twelve, still on the move.
After a catch
A short tone plays, then the name. A miss stays quiet. Nothing says “wrong.”
Offline
The names are included in the app. Play does not need a network connection.
No accounts
No sign-up, no ads, and no learning score. A grown-up sees pounces, catches, and play time.
A grown-up stays nearby
The first screen asks a grown-up to acknowledge that play must be supervised. Set the device on a flat, steady surface, and keep it from sliding off a lap or a table. End the session if your child is frustrated, tired, or holding the device too close. Use a case and a screen protector. Keep sessions short.
Quick Play starts with letters, numbers, colors, words, shapes, and all twelve animals. Gentle, Hunter, Zoomies, Multi-Cat, Aquarium, Bug Hunt, and Custom keep their usual setup until a grown-up turns the learning items on.
To leave Cat Lock, hold both upper corners for three seconds, then complete the human check.
